Job Description PV Engineer (Solar PV)Location: London & Home CountiesSalary: 35,00040,000 per annum (DOE)Employment Type: Full-time, PermanentRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced PV Engineer to install, commission, service, and maintain Solar PV systems across residential and small commercial sites in London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be technically competent, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall Solar PV systems including roof-mounted and ground-mounted arraysCarry out commissioning, testing, and system handoversDiagnose and repair faults on existing PV systemsPerform planned and reactive maintenance visitsEnsure all work complies with current regulations (BS 7671, MCS, DNO requirements)Complete electrical and installation documentation accuratelyLiaise professionally with customers, site managers, and internal teamsMaintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standardAdhere to all health & safety procedures at all timesRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systemsStrong electrical knowledge and fault-finding abilityExperience working on residential and/or small commercial projectsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood customer-facing communication skillsQualifications (Essential)Full UK Driving LicenceQualifications (Desirable)MCS Solar PV Installation CertificationExperience with battery storage systems (e.g. Tesla, GivEnergy, SolarEdge)What We OfferCompetitive salary of 35,00040,000Company vehicle, fuel card, and tools providedOvertime and call-out opportunities (where applicable)Ongoing training and career developmentSupportive and growing renewable energy businessJBRP1_UKTJ
