Job Description Lead Architect Enterprise Technology & DesignLocation: Mayfair, London (5 days in office)Salary: 100,000 120,000 + benefitsContract: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead Architect to define and drive the future-state architecture for a global organisation operating in a complex, multi-system environment. This is a strategic leadership position where you will ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business outcomesefficiency, scalability, and innovationwhile maintaining architectural integrity.You will work closely with senior stakeholders to align technology decisions with business objectives and oversee solution design across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate strategic business objectives into scalable, future-ready architectural solutions.Provide architectural oversight on major projects, ensuring secure, maintainable, and business-aligned designs.Lead application portfolio reviews and rationalisation initiatives to reduce complexity and cost.Define and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices.Assess emerging technologies and champion modern approaches such as cloud-native, API-first, and modular architectures.Act as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, mentoring and guiding delivery teams.What Were Looking For7+ years in enterprise architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.Proven experience aligning technology strategies with business objectives in complex environments.Expertise in enterprise applications, integration design, and scalable architectures (microservices, APIs, event-driven models).Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern delivery models (Agile, DevOps).Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and relevant certifications.Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts in business terms.Industry BackgroundTo succeed in this role, you must have experience within a related industry such as oil & gas, freight logistics, rail, aviation, or other large-scale operational sectors where technology underpins critical business processes.Why Join Us?This is a rare opportunity to shape technology strategy at scale in a high-performing, forward-thinking environment.
