Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing contractor in London. This role gives you the chance to take full commercial responsibility for your own projects, working across a variety of schemes ranging from complex refurbishments to high-value new builds. Role Overview: You will be responsible for the end-to-end commercial management of projects, typically ranging between 5m and 30m in value. Working closely with the project team, you will ensure financial targets are met, risks are managed, and client relationships are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Leading the commercial function on allocated projects from start to finish Preparing cost plans, budgets, and valuations Managing subcontract procurement, contract negotiation, and payments Assessing and authorising variations, claims, and final accounts Monitoring cash flow and forecasting project spend Producing monthly reports for senior management Working closely with project managers to ensure delivery is on time and within budget Attending client and progress meetings to provide financial updates Requirements : Minimum 4-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor Strong track record of managing projects independently Experience across build, refurbishment, or fit-out projects in London Excellent commercial awareness and knowledge of JCT contracts Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (RICS membership beneficial) Confident communicator with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills What's on Offer: Competitive salary (up to 75,000 depending on experience) plus package London-based projects, no requirement for extensive travel Autonomy to manage and deliver your own schemes Career progression within a supportive and growing business Opportunity to work on landmark London developments TPBN1_UKTJ
