Join Our Client as an AI Maturity Specialist - Contract Opportunity Remote (UK) | 12-month contract | Start: ASAP My client is looking for an AI Maturity Specialist to work with established Machine Learning teams (including highly experienced Data Scientists) who are already delivering ML solutions on Databricks . This role is focused on raising standards, optimising production ML, and strengthening MLOps capability - you'll need the technical depth and credibility to influence teams whose work will be scrutinised. The Role You'll partner with mature ML squads to help them level up model design, performance, reliability, and experimentation practices , ensuring solutions are scalable and production-ready. This is a hands-on, technical role with high stakeholder unidirectional for someone who enjoys improving how strong teams operate. What You'll Be Doing Enhance ML capability across existing teams already using Databricks Provide guidance on advanced model design , evaluation, optimisation, and best-practice delivery Support production ML improvements: scaling, reliability, monitoring, performance/latency optimisation Improve experimentation frameworks (e.g., reproducibility, model comparison, A/B testing approaches) Influence and challenge effectively-bringing rigor while staying pragmatic and delivery-focused Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complexity into action Must-Have Skills & Experience Expert-level Python across the ML stack Strong, hands-on Machine Learning experience (model design, optimisation, evaluation) Strong Deep Learning experience (neural networks, modern architectures) Strong Databricks experience (working in teams delivering ML on the platform) Deep understanding of MLOps (production systems, scaling, reliability, monitoring, reproducibility) Proven technical credibility-able to influence experienced ML teams confidently Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement Nice to Have GenAI experience (any practical exposure is beneficial) What My Client Is Looking For (Behavioural Fit) Self-starter who needs minimal direction Pragmatic delivery mindset (balances best practice with what works for the business) Strong structured problem-solving for ambiguous challenges Patient, collaborative approach-able to coach without ego TPBN1_UKTJ
