Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.Where will you be working?MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.What will you be doing?You will be responsible for maintaining various water assets, including:CSO ValvesPenstocksHydraulic Power UnitsIsolation GatesInspection of chambers and valve equipmentInspection of fixed equipmentWhat we need from you?Youll have proven experience in a supervisory or managerial roleYou'll have strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.Youll have demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.Be effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Youll have problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and effective solutions.Whats essential?Previous mechanical experienceTrained or qualified as an apprentice, or to an equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical EngineeringSuccessful completion of ONC/HNC in Engineering, NVQ, or C&G Level 3 in Mechanical EngineeringExcellent attention to detailStrong focus on safety and quality, with a collaborative teamwork approachFull UK drivers licenseAdvantageous:Experience with mobile plant (FLT, MEWP)Work at Height certificationManual Handling qualificationConfined Space Entry experiencePendent Crane use experienceIn addition, this role offers;Company van/vehicle and fuel card for business use25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysRecommend a friend get rewarded for introducing people to us!Matched or contributory pension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeMy Rewards portal, access to 1000s of retail discountsLife assuranceCycle to work schemeAbout usWe want to be an employer of choice and a great place to work, attracting diverse and talented people, who join us and make a difference.
