Interim Head of Regeneration Southeast England Inside IR35 Fulltime - 2 days in office per week Panoramic Associates is supporting a Local Authority in the Southeast to appoint an Interim Head of Regeneration. This role will provide strategic leadership across the council's regeneration, economic development, and growth agenda, while overseeing a substantial programme of projects and managing a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities of the Role: Provide leadership and direction to regeneration, economic development, and growth teams, including oversight of team restructures and performance management. Lead the delivery of major regeneration and development programmes, ensuring high-quality, hands-on project delivery. Oversee a diverse project portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment, effective risk management, and successful outcomes. Develop and implement regeneration strategies, economic growth plans, and development frameworks. Work collaboratively with internal teams, elected members, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive sustainable growth. Provide expert advice on regeneration, development, and investment opportunities. To be successful in the role you will have: Extensive experience working within a Local Authority or public-sector environment. Proven experience leading team restructures and managing multidisciplinary teams. Strong background in regeneration, economic development, and place-shaping. Demonstrable hands-on delivery experience on complex regeneration or development programmes. Experience managing a varied project or development portfolio. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Next Steps This role is an initial 6-month contract with a possibility for extension. You will be required to attend the office 2 days per week, with the remainder worked remotely.
