You''ll be the trusted NHG presence on the ground, carrying out inspections, monitoring contractor performance, and making sure repairs are completed quickly and to a high standard. This role is all about fixing failure fast, putting residents at the heart of what we do, and helping us deliver on our commitment to the perfect journey.How you''ll do itCarry out pre and post-inspections for responsive repairs, planned works, and cyclical referrals.Provide clear technical diagnoses and recommendations for repair works.Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and NHG''s code of conduct.Manage post-inspection regimes and oversee repair order variations to ensure quality and cost control.Contribute to stock condition surveys and support the development of repair monitoring systems.Act as a resident champion, ensuring feedback is acted on and service improvements are made.Attend contractor meetings and support operational risk management across the directorate.The ideal candidateWe believe great service starts with great people, and we are committed to recruiting and developing passionate, enthusiastic, and talented individuals who can add value to our thriving organisation.
