WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORAs a Performance Lead within the NSRL London, you will act as the link between the Research Lab and Sports Marketing to support the performance services offered to our elite level teams and athletes. You will also carry out sports science research in both the NSRL and field settings to help advance athlete performance knowledge and practices in elite sport and provide key insights for product solutions across the footwear, apparel, equipment, and digital innovation teams.This role requires an appropriate level of sports science and/or applied human performance knowledge and research capability. Experience working with elite athletes and interdisciplinary staff in a high-performance setting is essential.The position will require flexibility in meeting times to connect with the team at WHQ, as well as occasional domestic and international travel.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONYou will support the delivery of the performance services strategy defined by the team at WHQ to our elite level teams and athletes across EMEA, in partnership with Sports Marketing. You will also manage projects and initiatives focused on advancing knowledge of athlete performance, overseeing all phases from briefing, planning, execution, data analysis, to presentation. Promoting the work and image of the NSRL group externally to the performance science community is also part of this role.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHReporting to the Performance Services Director, you will be based in the NSRL London office and work as part of the Applied Performance Innovation team within NSRL at WHQ. You will serve as a link to Sports Marketing and Brand to support performance services for elite teams and athletes across EMEA. Collaboration across NSRL and Advanced Innovation (AIC) groups will leverage insights to inform Nike product and service development.WHAT YOU BRINGMasters degree in Sport or Exercise Science or related field with at least 4 years experience working with elite athletes and/or teams.Relevant certifications such as Strength & Conditioning, Physical Therapy, Sports Dietetics, Sports Psychology, or related fields.Statistical expertise in categorizing and applying data from lab and field settings.Experience with data collection tools used in performance science.Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively to athletes and coaches.Experience as a creative scientist, developing novel protocols, processing techniques, or applications.Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Growth mindset, resilience, and adaptability in dynamic environments.Curiosity and exploration-driven approach.Team-oriented attitude and collaborative spirit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
