COHE / Authorised Person 95,000105,000 + Package London A leading engineering and construction firm delivering complex MEP projects across London is seeking a highly skilled COHE / Authorised Person to join their project team on major mission-critical and commercial developments. This pivotal site-based role is responsible for the safe management, coordination, and compliance of high-voltage electrical systems throughout construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Candidates must hold C&G 2391-52, C&G 2365, have HV training and experience, and ideally have experience as an NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor. This role is suited to professionals with a strong understanding of electrical safe systems of work, energisation protocols, and technical compliance in live project environments. Key Responsibilities: Act as the projects Authorised Person for HV/LV systems, managing isolations, switching operations, and permit-to-work processes Lead safe energisation, testing, and commissioning activities across high-voltage networks Implement and manage Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures in line with project safety and control plans Oversee and audit electrical installations to ensure compliance with BS 7671 and client specifications Support the development and execution of system-specific Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Coordinate client witness testing, inspections, and approvals during energisation and handover Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to embed electrical safety protocols into construction and commissioning processes Mentor and guide site teams on electrical compliance and COHE best practices Participate in internal audits, quality reviews, and technical meetings Assist with the compilation and handover of Quality Records and system documentation Candidate Requirements: Fully qualified with C&G 2391-52 (or equivalent), C&G 2365 , and HV Switching/Authorised Person training Proven HV/LV experience on large-scale construction or mission-critical projects NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor experience highly desirable Deep knowledge of electrical safe systems of work, energisation, and LOTO processes Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills Confident working in fast-paced environments on major London projects Whats on Offer: 95,000 105,000 base salary Attractive package including benefits and career development opportunities Chance to work on landmark projects shaping Londons skyline Long-term pipeline of challenging and high-profile work Career progression with a market-leading MEP contractor TPBN1_UKTJ
