Job Description Property Procurement & Acquisition OfficerLocation: LondonSalary: 32,100 - 35,845? plus 3,500 area allowanceHours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week 8.30am-5pmContract Type: PermanentOur client, a provider of housing solutions, is seeking a Property Procurement & Acquisition Officer to cover London. This role is ideal for a property-focused professional eager to make a meaningful impact by procuring and acquiring homes for communities.Job Objective: The Property Procurement & Acquisition Officer manages a caseload, travels to meet stakeholders, and supports procurement and acquisition targets by sourcing properties and building strong client relationships. The role also includes procurement administration, meeting performance objectives, and supporting development planning.We are seeking an experienced property professional with a background in property sales, estate agency, or residential property management.Duties and Responsibilities:Source and acquire properties, ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, and accessibility requirements.Evaluate properties for suitability, including wheelchair access and case-specific needs, advising on modifications where necessary.Negotiate terms with landlords and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, local authorities, and agents.Maintain accurate records, monitor performance, and report on KPIs to meet deadlines and contractual standards.Work closely with the Special Administrator and senior management to optimise property portfolios and support urgent court cases.Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and a positive health and safety culture across the supply chain.Manage day-to-day property administration, handovers, and internal compliance efficiently.Required Skills:Procure and acquire residential properties, drawing on estate agency and property sales experience.Negotiate effectively with landlords, agents, and partners to secure properties on favourable terms.Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, landlords, and key stakeholders.Ensure compliance with property legislation, contracts, and company policies.Manage and optimise property portfolios to maximise efficiency and utilisation.Meet performance targets, KPIs, and operational objectives.Proactive, self-motivated, and focused on continuous improvement and best practice.Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.Benefits:25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysHealth MembershipLife cover6-month probation period4% employer and 4% employee pension contributionLaptop, phone, and other equipment as neededEmployee Assistance ProgrammeReferral schemeThe successful candidate will also be required to undergo a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, in accordance with the responsibilities of the role.To apply: Please contact Kerrie Collett on 07778 403485 to learn more or submit your application today.JBRP1_UKTJ
