Job Description Managing Director or Senior Managing DirectorFinancial Communications, Investor Relations, Government and Corporate CommunicationsDubai and Riyadh - Consultancy RolePurposeLead financial and corporate communications mandates across the Gulf. Advise on transactions, capital markets activity, IR strategy, and government or corporate communications. Drive revenue, run major accounts, and build teams that can operate at a high technical level from day one.Core requirements Heavy financial communications background with direct exposure to IR, capital markets, M&A, restructurings, and deals. Ability to pass a technical finance and maths assessment. Proven BD record, pitch leadership, and sustained commercial delivery. Strong agency experience at MD or SMD level. Regional Gulf experience is preferred, but UK-based candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate immediate market relevance and no learning curve. Candidates for Riyadh roles must show an understanding of the Saudi market and be capable of operating at pace with senior government and corporate stakeholders.Responsibilities Lead strategic advisory on financial communications, IR programmes, earnings, transactions, and capital markets activity. Manage key accounts and expand them through credible commercial judgement. Build and develop teams capable of producing technically accurate work at speed. Source new mandates, lead pitches, and deliver consistent revenue growth. Oversee all financial narratives, transaction communications, investor messaging, and board-level materials with precision. Maintain strong working relationships with investors, analysts, regulators, government stakeholders, and media relevant to the region. Enforce high standards of technical competence, analytical rigour, and execution discipline.Candidate profile Deep Fincomms and IR operator with transaction experience, not a generalist. Technically strong and able to demonstrate competence without preparation. Clear record of revenue generation and commercial decision-making at senior level. Gravitas suited to advising CEOs, boards, and government leadership. Able to hit the ground fast in Dubai or Riyadh with no ramp-up period.
