Test & Development Planner

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Test & Development Planner to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026. Umbrella Pay Rate: 33.64 per hour. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Supporting the creation and optimisation of Test and Development plans for vehicle and rigs, ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met and meets budget Defining the spec of prototype vehicles required to meet the needs of the test teams Oversee vehicle builds and manage Test and Development Plans Create and implement prototype camouflage strategies Maintain fleet of prototype vehicles and keep up to date with reworks, hardware updates and software updates Manage closure of prototype fleets by re-selling, recycling and re-using prototype assets for future programmes. Solid experience of cross functional working across multi-disciplined teams to lead problem resolution. An understanding of test methodology in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines. Experience of working in the Automotive or other relevant Engineering industry. Reporting and presenting technical data to Stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience and background in programme planning and/or vehicle testing accompanied with a proven track record of successful delivery of programme delivery. Primavera P6 planning tool knowledge will be desirable. Education Required: Relevant degree or equivalent experience or relevant apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred. TPBN1_UKTJ
