Financial Accountant

Job Title: Financial Accountant Location: London (Victoria) Job Type: Full-Time 40 hours Verisure has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the business, based at our London Victoria offices. The Financial Accountant will deliver accurate financial reporting under FRS 102 and IFRS, including statutory accounts and Group submissions. Key duties will include revenue and lease accounting (IFRS 15 & 16), asset management, contract analysis, audit support, and tax compliance. Promotes financial integrity through stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities include the following: Core Accounting & Compliance Apply IFRS 15 for revenue recognition and IFRS 16 for lease accounting Maintain asset registers, ensuring accurate amortisation and depreciation in line with group policy Process monthly payroll journal and reconcile related balance sheet accounts Perform balance sheet reconciliations and drive process improvements Reconcile physical inventory with financial records, resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting and compliance Reporting & Year-End Activities Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102 Assist with year-end corporation tax compliance queries Support year-end audit requests from auditors and Group for UK and Ireland Oversight & Miscellaneous Review ONS surveys completed by the Assistant Accountant Other ad-hoc tasks as required Skills and Experience: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2 to 5 years experience Strong knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102 Proficient in financial systems and Advanced Excel Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Proven ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team Verisure Career Opportunities A career with Verisure offers far more than just a job.
