With an enviable reputation in North America, Europe and the Caribbean for delivering projects of exceptional quality, the UK business is now actively delivering landmark schemes in Prime Central London and beyond.This is a highly entrepreneurial environment, suited to senior leaders with experience in the super-prime sector and the drive to help shape the commercial success of a growing business. The client base includes royalty, international billionaires, global developers, and private family offices all demanding absolute discretion, quality, and rigour.The Role:As Senior Commercial Manager, you will be a core part of the senior leadership team, working in close partnership with the Construction Director and reporting directly to the UK Managing Director. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all commercial aspects of the companys super-prime residential projects, typically ranging from 15 million to 50 million and beyond.You will be instrumental in setting commercial strategy, building out the commercial team, managing project cost control, contract management, and procurement and will act as a senior point of contact with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:Lead all commercial functions for projects across Prime Central London and key UK locationsProvide strategic commercial leadership alongside the Construction Director on each projectManage cost planning, cash flow forecasting, procurement, contract negotiation, and risk managementBuild and mentor a high-performing team of quantity surveyors and commercial managersDevelop strong relationships with key consultants, client representatives, and subcontractorsWork with the Managing Director to refine commercial reporting and project profitability modelsActively support pre-construction and tendering activity, contributing to bid strategy and pricingRepresent the business in key negotiations, protecting commercial interests while maintaining long-term partnershipsOccasional travel to the US or Caribbean offices for group meetings and collaborationRequirements:Proven experience at Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager level in the super-prime or high-end residential construction sectorDemonstrable track record of managing large-scale, complex projects over 15 millionExcellent understanding of contract law (JCT and bespoke forms), procurement strategy, and commercial riskOutstanding leadership skills, with experience growing and developing commercial teamsGravitas, discretion, and an ability to operate in client-facing environments at the highest levelA collaborative and proactive mindset, comfortable in a dynamic, growing organisationDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or similar)Whats on Offer:A rare chance to join a growing UK business backed by an established international groupOpportunity to shape commercial systems and team structures from the outsetLeadership role with visibility across board-level decision-makingRegular international travel and exposure to a global project portfolioCompetitive base salary, generous bonuses.
