Job DescriptionThe Client:A leading investment manager is looking for an 8+ PQE corporate/commercial lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.Key Responsibilities:Lead legal advisor on M&A and integration queries, providing strategic support to the senior exec team on pre- and post-completion/integration M&A matters.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements. vendor contracts, investment management agreements, licensing agreements, and customer terms and conditions.Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks, ensuring the companys operations align with legal requirements.Advise on corporate documents likes SPAs and SHAsWorking in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will be an 8+ PQE Corporate and/or commercial lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services firm.Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
