Job DescriptionSenior/Managing Associate: Non-Contentious Construction (Clean Energy)London | HybridA top 50 law firm is looking for a Senior or Managing Associate to join its market-leading construction team. Youll work alongside a partner who advises on some of the most significant clean energy infrastructure projects - from battery storage and solar to energy-from-waste and beyond.This role is focused on non-contentious construction. Youll have the chance to lead on major contracts, advise top-tier clients, and help deliver complex low-carbon projects that are shaping the future of the energy sector.What youll be doing:Youll be drafting and negotiating construction agreements including EPCs, O&M and supply contracts, as well as advising on procurement, project delivery and risk management.You'll collaborate with colleagues across real estate, planning, corporate and finance to provide joined-up support to clients.There's also plenty of scope to get involved in business development, mentoring and thought leadership.What were looking for:Youll be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least five years experience advising on non-contentious construction matters, ideally with exposure to clean energy or infrastructure work.Youll be comfortable working with a range of standard forms (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) and be confident leading negotiations and managing your own workload.A commercial mindset, strong drafting skills and a real/demonstrable interest in energy transition are key.Why this role:Youll be joining a high-performing team with a strong reputation in the energy space.Theres clear progression, meaningful work and flexibility around where and how you work.Youll also be supported to develop your practice, with access to national and international clients, and the opportunity to shape your own path.Interested?Send your CV along with a brief note about your experience and current level.
