Job Title: Senior Industrial Designer Duration: 6 Months Location: London City Centre - Hybrid Working (3 Days A Week Onsite) Start Date: Start/Mid September Rate: 300-350 per day, OUTSIDEIR35 Overview: Were seeking a proactive and adaptable Contract Senior Industrial Engineer to work for a customer of ours in the City Centre of London. Youll play a key part in shaping the future of cutting-edge personal technology and smart lifestyle devices. Youll be instrumental in taking ideas from concept through to final design, working on the next generation of innovative connected products that enhance everyday life. Key Skills Required: 5+ years of experience in industrial design, with a portfolio that demonstrates work on advanced tech devices or lifestyle electronics. Expert proficiency in 3D CAD, particularly SolidWorks, with a strong grasp of complex surfacing and modeling techniques. Confident and efficient in communicating ideas through sketching, both digital and hand-drawn. Strong working knowledge of 2D design software, especially the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with visualisation tools such as KeyShot or Cinema 4D, with an eye for detail and realism. A solid understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes relevant to compact, high-performance tech products.
