Who are we?Posh Monkey Studios is a new London-based iGaming development studio that is well-backed and ready to create top tier casino content for the market. Our aim is straight forward, create premium games for the premium player using the best talent. We want people who are actively striving to give their best efforts and grow with a new studio. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a 2D Artist (Slots) based on-site in London. The 2D Artist will be responsible for creating and designing high-quality graphics for slot games. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing and illustrating characters, backgrounds, symbols/objects, and other game elements such as UI elements. The artist will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Animators, and Developers to ensure cohesive visual and gameplay experiences, and adhering to project timelines and feedback cycles. The 2D Artist will also be responsible for asset optimization and ensuring that artwork is scaled and formatted correctly for various devices.QualificationsProficiency in 2D art creation, conceptualisation, and background/character illustrationExperience with graphic design software such as Adobe PhotoshopStrong portfolio showcasing your skills in slot game design or similarKeen to use AI tools (such as Midjourney and ChatGPT) to help quickly concept ideasUnderstanding of colour theory, composition, lighting, and visual storytellingExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow project specificationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience in the iGaming / Slots industry is a plusPlease note that this is a hybrid role, so we’re giving preference to candidates based in or near London. Our office is conveniently located near Farringdon station.
