This is not a traditional leadership role overseeing teams who build. This is a hands-on architectural mandate for someone who has built, scaled, and owned core infrastructure for real-time document processing, specifically in high-compliance enterprise environments.This is not a team management or strategy-only role. It is a hands-on architectural mandate focused on production delivery. The platform processes millions of documents across regulated sectors, and is now being re-architected to incorporate agentic frameworks, LLMs, and secure private inference at scale.You will be responsible for designing the technical foundations that enable this: scaling LLM systems, embedding pipelines, orchestration layers, and enterprise-grade reliability across global traffic.Core RequirementsCandidates must meet all of the following to be considered:Proven experience building and deploying production-grade LLM platforms, not research or PoCDeep background in intelligent document processing, OCR, or data extraction pipelinesTechnical leadership in designing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or agentic AI frameworksExperience deploying models in latency-sensitive, compliance-heavy environmentsStrong engineering foundation, Python, Kubernetes, Rust, vector databases, cloud-native deploymentExperience building proprietary productsDeep experience with LLMsHistory of building within product companies or platform teams, not consultancies or service firmsYou will:Lead architectural design of scalable document intelligence systemsBuild and optimise full LLM pipelines, from ingestion to inference to orchestrationOversee deployment in private cloud / secure infrastructure settingsDesign systems to operate across regions, industries, and compliance frameworksCollaborate with a 2030 person technical group across ML, backend, and infra engineeringDefine standards for performance, cost-efficiency, and model governance at scaleThe role title will be a Senior Director, but the expectation is technical ownership, not delegation.
