Job Description Finance Manager (Charity) | 55-59k| Well-known UK Charity | Permanent | 2 days in Central LondonThis Finance Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join a large non-profit organisation during an exciting period of growth. This role would be pivotal in providing accurate and timely financial reporting and planning for the organisation, managing a small team and delivering key development and change across policy and procedures as their growth continues.Key ResponsibilitiesOverseeing statutory reporting and delivering both quarterly and yearly accounts prep under Charity SORP.Managing 1 staff member overseeing the income and fund reporting of the charityLeading the external audits and supporting the Head of Financial Accounts in relevant information gatheringPlanning for year-end including delivery of accurate and timely reporting.Completing the month-end accounting Analysing the consolidated accounts, delivering strong reporting.Advising on correct VAT treatment for relevant departmentsLiaising with relevant internal stakeholders ensuring accurate and timely posting across multiple systemsPerson SpecificationA fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) - Finalist may be considered alongside charity experienceExperience of working in a charity setting is essential Strong experience in financial accounting including statutory reporting (Charity SORP)Experience of supervising or managing staff previouslyA proactive and ambitious mindset with ability to analyse dataExcellent communicator with the ability to work with various stakeholdersThey have a fantastic working culture and the position would be 2 days in their Central London offices and the rest from home as well as other fantastic benefits including up to 33 days holiday, 8% non-contribution pension, flexible hours and many more.Please apply now!
