Indirect Tax Manager, 6 month FTC

Job Description A leading financial services organisation is recruiting for an Indirect Tax contract specialist to join the team on a fixed term contract assignment, to assist with a mix of compliance and advisory work relating to their property and real estate assets. This will be an initial 6 month contract, full-time, and based in their London offices and working on a hybrid basis.This will include:Advising business units on VAT implications of property transactions and projectsSupporting VAT compliance activities including registrations, de-registrations, and Option-to-TaxAssisting with Partial Exemption Special Method applications and liaising with HMRCContributing to VAT process improvement and transformation initiativesMaintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of UK VAT and related property taxesCommunicating complex tax issues clearly to non-specialists across the businessBuilding relationships with finance and business contacts to manage indirect tax mattersDelivering training and support on VAT technical and process topics to finance teamsYou will need to be a qualified indirect tax specialist (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a strong background in UK VAT. Experience relating to the indirect tax issues around property transactions and fund structures would be particularly advantageous. You will also need to demonstrate good commercial acumen and excellent communication skills (working cross-functionally, managing third-party relationships and dealing with senior stakeholders and non-tax professionals).Please get in contact if you are an indirect tax contractor who is available to start in or before January 2026.
