Then were looking for someone like you. Were recruiting for a Shift Manager to join our team, working day time shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern, supporting operations at site level and ensuring the highest standards of safety, service and efficiency. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where youll be managing daily plans, leading your team, and working closely with our customer to deliver an outstanding service. Pay, benefits and more: Were offering a salary up to 38,000, 28 days holiday (INC bank holidays), with the option to buy additional leave. What youll do on a typical day: Lead, coach and support your team to deliver results, holding regular 1-2-1s and team briefings Manage daily transport operations, including planning, debriefs, vehicle loading and route coverage Act as a key point of contact for our customer, providing updates and resolving issues quickly Monitor safety, compliance and service performance, ensuring all procedures are followed Oversee absence management, RTWs and weekend planning, including agency requirements Handle incidents, breakdowns and defects, ensuring issues are logged and resolved efficiently Complete daily reports and handovers to ensure smooth communication between shifts What you need to succeed: Strong people management and leadership skills Experience working in a transport or logistics environment, ideally within 3PL Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) with attention to detail Confident communicator with great customer service skills The ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and keep calm in a fast-paced setting Be part of Something Big: We strive to create an inclusive environment for all our colleagues, where everyone feels welcomed, empowered and where you can bring your true self to work.
