QA Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and proactiveQA Supervisorto join the Quality Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small, hands-on QA team ensuring product safety, legality, authenticity, and quality are consistently met within a safety-critical environment. You'll be the bridge betweenProduction & Technical , fostering a collaborative team culture while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer specifications compliance. Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day leadership of the QA team ensuring effective inspection, monitoring & verification tasks (e.g., metal detection, pH monitoring, sterilizer checks, microbiological testing). Liaise with internal teams & external bodies (FSA, OV) to ensure full site compliance. Be an ambassador for Food Safety & Quality Culture through your visible leadership. Drive continuous improvement and deliver accurate KPI reporting to senior management. Identify, segregate, and manage non-conforming products ensuring no risk to product integrity. Lead GMP audits, pre-start checks, and proactively manage Food Safety & H&S risks. Ensure your team is fully trained, motivated, and consistently performing to high standards. What We're Looking For: Experience in asimilar QA/Technical supervisory rolewithin a production environment. Strong understanding ofFood Safety, Quality & Health & Safety Regulations . Hands-on leader with great attention to detail and a calm, logical approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Physically fit, with a flexible and proactive attitude. Competent in using IT systems for reporting and documentation.
