Senior P6 Planner

THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE BASED IN WARRINGTONWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Project Planner to join our team in Warrington, United Kingdom. As a P6 Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our engineering projects in the water and energy sectors by developing, implementing, and monitoring project plans.Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocationsAnalyse the project requirements and create detailed work breakdown structuresIdentify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify all project requirements and agree timescalesUtilise planning software (preferably Primavera P6) to produce tender stage programmesConduct resource forecasting and optimisation to improve project efficiencyAssist in the development of project budgets and cost estimatesEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policiesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives for planning processesQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in engineering industry or related fieldStrong Knowledge of NEC form of contract essentialProficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)Excellent mathematical and analytical skillsAbility to develop and manage complex project schedulesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentExperience in construction or infrastructure projectsKnowledge of construction methodologies and techniquesUnderstanding of project scheduling and resource allocation principlesFamiliarity with industry standards and regulationsProblem-solving abilities and attention to detail
