Total Staff are looking to recruit a Programmer Setter Operator to join our client based in Liverpool.Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.As a subcontract machine shop, our client manufactures one-offs and small batches, maximizing employee skills, this role includes creating programs, selecting tooling and machining shafts up to 3.2m from various steel grades using advanced CNC Lathes with live tooling and programable steadies, utilizing both C & Y axis machining.Essential:-NVQ 3 or equivalentProficient in programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes with Fanuc ControlsAbility to work from detailed engineering drawingsKnowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality SystemsExperience machining exotic metals e.g super duplex, 718, x 750, Hastelloy, MonelPrevious experience in a similar role - min 2 yearsStrong planning and organizational experienceEffective communication with peers and managementAttention to detailPreferred:-Doosan Lathes (Chuck sizes ranging from 8' to 30') (lenghts from 1mm to 3.2m)Manual guide programming capabilitiesOne CNC Programming software xjdpvnf packageC & Y axis programming and machiningProgrammable steadiesProduction of valve and pump componentsServing the Nuclear, Defence Oil, Gas, Fluid and power generation sectorsProficient in Office 365 and ERP SystemsSalary 35,000 - to 37500 with O/T 45-48kSingle days Mon-Thursday and Friday 0730-1230
