#INDLP Purpose of the Role: To effectively coordinate the delivery of high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care services across Liverpool. The Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that care is safely and efficiently scheduled to meet the needs of service users, in line with Care Solutions values, CQC standards, and local authority contract requirements. Key Responsibilities:1. Scheduling & Rotas Create and maintain staff rotas using CarePlanner (or other internal systems), ensuring continuity of care and appropriate staff allocation. Match care workers with service users based on skills, location, availability, and client preferences. Minimise travel time and maximise efficiency while complying with employment and working time regulations. Respond to unexpected absences or emergencies by arranging alternative cover promptly. 2. Communication Maintain clear and regular communication with care staff, clients, family members, and healthcare professionals. Ensure all schedule changes are communicated effectively and timely to care workers and service users. Handle incoming queries, complaints or concerns and escalate appropriately to the Registered Manager. 3. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure care delivery complies with individual care plans and CQC Fundamental Standards. Support the Registered Manager with audits, MAR chart reviews, risk assessments, and spot checks. Contribute to safeguarding investigations and incident reports as needed. 4. Care Worker Support & Supervision Support the recruitment and onboarding of new care staff. Coordinate shadowing shifts, monitor probationary progress, and deliver feedback to HR. Conduct supervisions, spot checks and performance reviews in line with company policy. Promote staff wellbeing and morale through positive engagement and support. 5. Administration Maintain accurate records on all client and staff systems (e.g., CarePlanner, Nourish). Ensure timely submission of timesheets and mileage claims. Prepare reports or data for management meetings, local authority reviews, and compliance inspections. 6. On-Call Duties Participate in the on-call rota to respond to out-of-hours emergencies and provide support to care staff and clients. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a care coordination, team leader or supervisor role within a domiciliary care setting (Essential) Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and local authority care commissioning frameworks Proficient IT skills including experience with care rostering software (e.g., CarePlanner) and digital care records Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Commitment to safeguarding, person-centred care and equality Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards) Level 2 in Leadership or Team Leading (Desirable) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential)Job Type: Full-timePay: From 25,000.00 per yearAdditional pay: Bonus schemeBenefits: Company pension On-site parking Sick pay Store discountSchedule: Monday to FridayExperience: Care Co Ordinator : 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)Location: Liverpool L6 (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: careco
