Sheet Metal Worker Location: Liverpool, L21 Pay: 13.50 per hour Shifts : 07:00-16:30 Pay : 13.50 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of various metalworking techniques and the ability to work with precision tools and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Responsibilities Assemble metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. Perform grinding and spot welding tasks to ensure proper fitting and finishing of parts. Utilise hand tools and machinery effectively to shape, cut, and finish metal materials. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during fabrication or assembly processes. Skills Familiarity with sheet metal work and its applications in various projects. Experience with spot welding processes Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Competent in using hand tools and tooling equipment safely and effectively. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
