Job Description Job Title: Price Implementation TesterLocation: Liverpool City CentreContract type: 6 month contractWorking Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pmWe are excited to share a new career opportunity now available within our amazing Pricing Implementation team.The Pricing Implementation Team plays a critical role in translating strategic pricing decisions into operational reality. The team ensures that rate changes, structures and new products are implemented accurately, consistently and on schedule.What you will be doing:Test and validate Pricing rate changes in both the rating engine and policy systemCollaborate with analysts to understand rate structures and expected outcomesAid in executing manual and automated testing for various scenariosEnsure that premiums and eligibility reflect approved ratesMonitor production pricing performance post-deployment to ensure no downtime and ongoing accuracyMaintaining awareness of practical implications of pricing changesContribute to the continuous improvement of testing and documenting standardsReport test results and provide detailed feedback to stakeholdersKeep up to date documentation and audit trails for testing of deployed pricing changes into the live systemWorking closely with team members to refine and improve the systemWhat we are looking for:Experienced user within ICE with the ability to understand all transactions (NB, RNWLS, MTA's, cancellations etc.)Proficient in MS Office suite, mainly ExcelExcellent planning and organisational skillsGood verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to identify problems, challenge, and develop structured solutionsGood attention to detailDesire to offer new solutions in a proactive mannerA STEM degree would be beneficial but not requiredGrow with AcornAt Acorn Insurance, we're proud of our Liverpool roots - and even prouder of how far we've come.
