Job Description The BenefitsFlexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays)Competitive locum ratesSupportive multidisciplinary working environmentOpportunity to work autonomously at an advanced clinical levelOngoing professional development opportunitiesThe CompanyA leading Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) provider delivering high-quality, patient-centred urgent careCommitted to clinical excellence, governance, and safe patient flowWorks closely with NHS services and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated urgent careThe RoleAssess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients with undifferentiated and urgent conditionsManage minor illness and acute presentations independentlyTake comprehensive patient histories and perform advanced clinical assessmentsRequest and interpret diagnostics (pathology, imaging, ECGs) within scope of practicePrescribe medications as an Independent Prescriber (where qualified)Safely escalate and refer patients to GPs, specialty teams, or Emergency Departments as neededRecognise and respond to clinical deterioration and medical emergenciesMaintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinical governance standardsWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical support to colleaguesThe PersonRegistered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or GMC)Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or two Level 7 qualificationsIndependent Prescriber (V300) or equivalentStrong background in urgent care, emergency care, or primary careConfident managing undifferentiated patients autonomouslyExcellent clinical reasoning, communication, and decision-making skillsEvidence of ongoing CPD and professional developmentALS / ILS certification (desirable)Experience in UTC or ED settings (desirable)Familiar with local referral pathways and integrated care systems (desirable)JBRP1_UKTJ
