Do you have a a passion for innovation and leadership? Join MyCardium AI as Deputy Head of Echo Operations, where you'll help shape the future of cardiac imaging and AI-powered diagnostics. We are MyCardium AI , an innovative company at the forefront of cardiac imaging and AI technology. We are seeking a Deputy Head of Echo Operations to support the Head of Echo Operations in ensuring our workflows, validation processes and regulatory projects deliver excellence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering operational standards across the full lifecycle of our EchoConfidence platform . This includes supporting product validation, software testing, regulatory submissions, clinical policy development and cross-functional collaboration. You will also act as a key point of leadership, supporting and guiding teams across AI training and development, regulatory, clinical, and commercial functions. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining clinical expertise with operational oversight. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate internal validation workflows for EchoConfidence. Oversee software testing, support change management, and acceptance testing. Support regulatory submissions (UKCA, CE, FDA) and manage regulatory cohorts. Draft and maintain internal clinical policies and disease-specific workflows. Provide expert input to Core Lab projects, RFPs, and imaging manuals. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on demos, onboarding, and training. Mentor and manage cross-functional teams, fostering excellence and innovation The Company Founded in 2022, MyCardium AI is a spin-out from University College London. As Deputy Head of Echo Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, regulatory success, and clinical excellence, while supporting the growth of a dynamic and mission-driven team. Apply now to help shape the future of echocardiography The Person BSc in Clinical Physiology, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent with appropriate post BSc (or equivalent) experience Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Transthoracic Echo Accreditation (BSE or EACVI equivalent), OR certification of Specialist training in Cardiac Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound (e.g Valid Cardiovascular Credentialing - Validation Certificate, The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS). Good clinical practice certification. OR Applicants must have held registration alongside clinical experience in echocardiography for more than 10 years, with no lapse in registration exceeding 5 years Minimum 3 years of clinical echocardiography experience in a clinical setting, with proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiography studies. Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-level training and supervision, with the ability to upskill teams, foster professional development, and ensure alignment with organisational standards and strategic goals Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
