AWS Business Development Managemer Home-Based | National Coverage | Automotive Sector Automotive Waste Solutions (AWS) has been a trusted partner to the UK automotive industry since 1998. Through our market-leading Total Waste Management Programme, we support major dealership groups, service centres, independent garages and accident repair networks nationwide. Known for our communication, industry expertise and quality of service, AWS continues to expand-and we're looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As an AWS Business Development Manager , you will play a key role in winning, developing and retaining profitable customer accounts. Working closely with the AWS Commercial Director, you will be responsible for: Targeting, qualifying and securing new business Planning and booking appointments with decision makers Delivering professional presentations and contract proposals Managing the profitability of your customer portfolio Monitoring aged debt to ensure timely payments Providing monthly reports covering target account activity, new wins and market intelligence This is a home-based, field-focused role requiring strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Do you have what it takes? We're looking for someone with: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills A confident, friendly telephone manner Strong organisational and planning ability Proven customer management skills Competency in Microsoft Office applications Confidence operating at senior decision-maker level Effective presentation and proposal-delivery skills A proactive, professional and self-starting approach Objectives & Success Measures Achieving ongoing growth in profitable AWS accounts Delivering timely and accurate monthly reports Maintaining strong customer relationships and high retention Demonstrating calm, professional issue resolution Meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets Who You Are You present yourself professionally, communicate with confidence and remain proactive under pressure.
