Job DescriptionJunior Compliance Analyst LiverpoolOne of renowned global law firm clients is seeking an August 2026 or 2027 Future Trainee to join their Liverpool office as a Junior Compliance Analyst on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.Salary to 33,00012-month fixed-term contract09:30-17:30 working hoursHybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)Excellent employee benefits, including GymFlex, subsidised on-site restaurant and coffee bar and enhanced family leave, and more!This role will support the Manager and Senior Analysts in the team in all aspects of new client and matter intake.Junior Compliance Analyst Key Responsibilities:Responsible for day-to-day tasks relating to all aspects of the firm's Client and Matter Inception processesManage the compliance inbox and answer various ad hoc queriesUndertake client due diligence checks and determine the nature and level of due diligence required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering RegulationsAssess the risk profile of new and existing clients and matters and escalating issues as appropriateCarry out conflict searches and identifying and resolving (and escalating as appropriate) any conflict issues arising out of searches undertaken or reviewedConduct research as part of client due diligence using external and internal databasesProvide advice to partners, fee earners and secretaries on Anti-Money Laundering, general inception and conflicts queriesJunior Compliance Analyst Skills & Requirements:Previous experience working in a similar role within a law firmExperience in conducting client due diligence and/or conflicts analysisDemonstrate an understanding of the SRA's rules regarding conflicts of interest and confidentialityAbility to analyse data and reach reasoned conclusionsExperience in dealing effectively with stakeholders and senior management
