Liberty has an exciting opportunity for anAccounts Assistantto join our team in Knowsley. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits. Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant role include: Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues, manage transactions, and drive process improvements. Accurately and promptly post all incoming cash to the correct customer accounts daily. Accurately and promptly post all outgoing payments to the correct supplier accounts. Produce daily bank reconciliations. Process sundry payments. Liaise with the wider business to resolve issues or queries. Ideal candidate: GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English. Experience with ICT, especially Microsoft Office (Excel Intermediate to Advanced). Solid understanding of accounting principles, credit control, and accounting software. Strong numeracy, literacy, time management, and communication skills. Experience in social housing is a plus.
