Overview We are looking for Welders and Fabricators who have achieved, General Welding Level 2 Apprenticeship or who have equivalent relevant experience to join our expanding team. These positions will work with our Production Fabrication team making bespoke haulage trailers and truck plant bodies. Successful applicants will learn how to manufacture a range of standard and non-standard parts to drawing, on time and to a high standard of work.The role will report to the Front-Line Manager, Columbus Way with direction from other staff on specific areas. Responsibilities Fabricate and weld company products to the required specifications Adapt and develop welding techniques across different material groups, joint configurations and positions Technical documentation- reading and interpreting job specifications, drawings, manufacturer instructions/manuals and quality documents Awareness of health and safety regulations. Using safe systems at work to minimise hazards and risks and complying with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Problem solving with the ability to identify common faults and issues within a welding environment Essential Requirements General Welding Level 2 Apprenticeship or equivalent welding experience (2-3 years) Must be able to pass company weld test Understanding of manufacturing and willingness to learn Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time Able to follow instructions and seek advice when needed Methodical with good attention to detail Good communication skills xjdpvnf with the ability to work alone or within a team setting Demonstrates honesty and integrity Self-motivated, takes pride in work We Offer Competitive salary 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and days gifted at Christmas Life insurance Pension Free on-site parking Job Type Full-time Pay Starting from 12.50 per hour, depending on experience Benefits Early 3.00pm Friday finish time Company events Company pension Free parking Life insurance On-site parking Schedule Monday to Friday Work Location In personJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: 12.50-15.
