Senior Project Manager / PMO – Markets Transformation£600/DAY RATEDescription:The Markets Transformation programme focusses on remediation work linked to the 2020 Consent Order. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / PMO professional to provide end-to-end project management and governance across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.The Role:You will be the driving force behind key remediation initiatives, ensuring progress is clearly tracked, risks are managed, and stakeholders stay aligned.Responsibilities include:Preparing concise, audience-appropriate progress reports and challenging updates from other functions.Maintaining project plans, risks, issues and dependencies using best-practice PMO methodology.Facilitating engagement with Markets product lines and leading issue-by-issue progress to hit milestones.Identifying and escalating emerging risks, bringing the right people together to resolve problems and ensuring timely closure.Promoting collaboration and clear communication across a broad stakeholder group.Defining, teaching and enforcing strong project management practices.Key Skills & ExperienceExceptional written and verbal communication skills.Highly detail-oriented with the ability to deep-dive while keeping a portfolio-wide view.Proven ability to drive progress and meet tight deadlines in a large, complex organisation.Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive “no surprises” approach to issues and escalations.Experience managing cross-department dependencies (Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit, etc.).Strong leadership and organisational skills; able to work independently and within a team.Critical, strategic and analytical thinking with a track record of delivering sustainable change.Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.DesirableBackground in regulatory programmes.Knowledge of Markets operations, risk & controls, and trade lifecycle.Familiarity with Finance regulatory reporting (e.g. Call Report, 2052A).If you’re an accomplished PM/PMO professional ready to make an impact on a major transformation initiative, we’d love to hear from you.
