We are working in partnership with a highly regarded law firm based in North Birmingham who are seeking a confident and commercially minded solicitor to join their Employment Law team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive legal environment that offers real autonomy, a strong client base, and excellent prospects for future growth.Do you want to work for a business that you are valued ?About the Role:As an Employment Lawyer, you will manage a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising individuals and corporate clients across a range of sectors.Key Responsibilities:Handling a broad range of employment matters including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, TUPE, discrimination, and unfair dismissal claimsRepresenting clients in tribunal proceedings where requiredDrafting and negotiating settlement agreements, contracts of employment, and HR policiesProviding day-to-day employment advice to HR professionals, SMEs, and larger organisationsSupporting the firm’s business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships Requirements:A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in Employment LawExperience handling both claimant and respondent mattersStrong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skillsCommercially aware with a proactive approach to client careAbility to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision Benefits:25 days holiday plus bank holidaysFree parkingPensionPrivate medicalPlease note we will require a copy of your UK rights to work to be forwarded for this position, thank you.Due to the unprecedented volume of response, we are currently receiving, regrettably we are no longer able to respond to every application individually.
