Integrating with the brands we work with, our aim is to deliver outstanding services in administration, marketing, operations, and sales.In this role, you will be supporting Smith Benedict & Co, a fast growing Company, providing a wide range of property legal services in England and Wales to commercial and private clients worldwide. We are highly committed to the delivery of first class service.We are currently recruiting for a Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal Assistant to join our team!Prepare and manage legal documentationDraft and issue contract packs to relevant parties.Order, review, and interpret property searches.Review and summarise mortgage offers for the supervising lawyer.Prepare draft reports on key documentation.Collate ID checks and other essential documentation.Maintain accurate records.Facilitate transaction progressionDraft and send completion statements accurately and on time.Update clients, estate agents, solicitors and mortgage brokers throughout the process.Exchange contracts and complete and complete transactions under supervision.Assist with obtaining outstanding documents as required.Monitor critical dates and escalate as required.Maintain operational accuracy and complianceMaintain case records and ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLA’S.Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legal and procedural requirements.Maintain high standards of client care and service at all times.Follow all processes and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.Promote regulatory and policy complianceFollow all internal policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Adhere to data protection and anti-money laundering requirements.Report any compliance breaches or risks to the relevant department.Demonstrate a proactive approach to understanding regulatory updates.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Skills/ExperienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to work within a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAble to prioritise workloadPrevious experience working on residential conveyancing matters.Previous experience supporting a fee earnerOffice BasedUp to £28,000 per annum basic + 10% bonus based on Company performance
