Facade Designer

Purpose of the Role:The Façade Designer is responsible for leading the design from preconstruction all the way to construction. They are a key part of the project team and will be at the forefront of collaboration between Envisage & client teams to ensure the façade design matches both the architect’s intent and instructed scope of works.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Create detailed design drawings and specifications for façade elementsPrepare 2D & 3D models. Sketches & technical drawings to illustrate design concepts, technical solutions and installation detailsCreation of fabrication drawings ready for the procurement departmentCompilation of all handover documents on project completion inclusive of O&M’sLiase with manufactuers and project teams to ensure the correct distribution of documentationPerform design risk assessments in collaboration with the project teamAttend design meetings, workshops 'site visits as needed to review progress and resolve any design related challengesLiase with project engineers to ensure sufficient calculations are in place for the design workEnsure that all façade designs comply with building regulations, industry standards & relevant industry guidelines
