Renowned for their quality, process discipline and technical excellence, NMB Minebea continues to invest in people, equipment and continuous improvement.This role is based at theirLincoln manufacturing siteand plays a key part in ensuring CNC milling and turning processes are safe, stable, efficient and capable of producing consistently high-quality components.The RoleAs Process Technician Milling & Turning, you will support and optimise CNC machining processes, working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to drive performance, reduce waste and ensure repeatable manufacturing standards.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeDeveloping, implementing and maintaining robust CNC milling and turning processesProviding technical support to production teams, supervisors and team leadersOptimising cutting parameters, tooling, fixturing and machining methodsSupporting new product introduction (NPI), trials, validation and process sign-offCreating and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, control plans and process documentationSupporting first-off approvals, capability studies and ongoing process monitoringInvestigating non-conformances and implementing corrective and preventive actionsDriving continuous improvement in cycle time, scrap, quality and productivityEnsuring all machining activities comply with quality, safety and customer standardsAssisting with operator training and best-practice machining methodsAs the Process Technician You Will BringProven experience in CNC milling and turning within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of machining principles, tooling, cutting data and materialsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsA structured, analytical approach to problem-solvingStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyA quality-focused, safety-driven mindsetAn organised, proactive and improvement-driven approachDesirable:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering Manufacture or similarExperience with Lean, Kaizen, SPC or capability studiesBackground in new product introduction (NPI)JBRP1_UKTJ
