Job Description:Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Transport Service Co-Ordinator based in Colsterworth.Were looking for someone with excellent communication and customer focus skills to work as part of the wider Operations team to facilitate the successful and efficient utilisation of both our own fleet and third-party haulage to ensure efficient grain movement which fulfils our customer and supplier requirements.Ideally, youll have worked in a similar role before, be familiar with the agricultural farming sector or have previous transport experience. You will need to demonstrate a pragmatically commercial approach as you will be responsible for the cost-effective buying of third-party haulage, negotiation of haulage rates and a haulage spend extending to millions of pounds.You'll also need excellent time keeping skills, have a pro-active approach to learning, development, and continuous improvement.We are looking for:Preferred previous experience in a similar Transport/Logistics administrative roleExcellent organisational and prioritisation skillsAbility to problem solve and suggest effective resolutionsExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelA self-starter, with good attention to detail and high levels of accuracyProfessional telephone manner and great communication skills with demonstrable ability to work well in a teamAbility to meet deadlines in a time pressured environment. xjdpvnf Key Responsibilities Include:Working closely and collaboratively with the fleet planning team to ensure that the Openfield own fleet is fully utilisedProcurement of Third-Party Haulage to ensure that all movements are executed to satisfy supplier and consumer customer requirementsEffective two-way communication with all internal teams ensuring excellent customer service is maintainedBuilding relationships with Third-Party carriers to support the Carrier Management StrategyEnsuring that haulage rates are adhered to at all timesEnsuring drivers are complying with regulations.
