Do you have a strong understanding of the turning process and the ability to work to tight tolerances and surface finishes? We specialise in manufacturing low-volume, high-quality tubular and threaded components, and due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our engineering team with an experienced 2 Axis CNC Turner.Key Responsibilities:Program, set, and operate 2 axis CNC turning machinesWork confidently with components up to 300mm x 3m in length (lifting equipment provided)Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and standardsEnsure high-quality finishes and adherence to tight tolerancesMaintain a clean and efficient working environmentCollaborate with the team to meet production targetsExperience & Skills Required:Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating 2 axis CNC lathesStrong knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and geometric tolerancesExperience with Fanuc controls is advantageousBackground in a machine shop environmentSelf-motivated, quality-focused, and able to work independentlyHoist training will be provided if requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive salary (based on experience)Immediate start availableWorking hours:Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am 2:30pmHoliday: 20 days + 8 bank holidays + bonus holiday over the Christmas periodGovernment pension schemeHealth care schemeExcellent working conditionsFree on-site parkingInformation on CNC Turner Email: JBRP1_UKTJ
