Field Support Technician

My client, specialising in technical support for the automotive Industry, are experiencing rapid growth, and due to this, are looking for a Field Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Function Primary focus will be to support Sales and customer relations, working closely with customers to understand their requirements from an ADAS perspective. You will be required to work from a schedule of work, visiting repair shops across your dedicated area of the UK. Role will include installation, as well as training the customer and conformity checks on a regular basis. Performing all necessary diagnostic tests. RequirementsA granular understanding of ADAS across multiple OEMsProficient in identification of faults on vehicles, module corrections, error messages etc OEM scan tool and/or aftermarket scan tool experience and knowledge. Experience of performing necessary diagnostic tests and have experience of working on ADAS systems, mobile OR in a workshop. Two years of car dealership experience OR experience in an aftermarket repair facility as an automotive technician Strong Automotive mechanical and electrical diagnosis, problem solving and repair experienceStrong computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office and web application softwareClean driving licence There may be a requirement for an overnight stay, dependant on workshop location at times. All expenses will be covered. Great benefits package Salary £40k plus (OTE 12k Bonus per annum)
