Junior Front-End Software Engineer (Contract – Remote)Our firm is seeking a Junior Front-End Software Engineer to support the build and launch of our client-facing platform. This role is fully remote and offered on a contract basis, with a competitive hourly rate for the successful candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing and implementing user-facing features for our web platformWork with senior engineers to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and performant codeSupport integration of front-end components with backend services and APIsTest and debug code to ensure reliability across browsers and devicesContribute to code reviews and maintain clean, reusable code standardsCollaborate with designers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality features on scheduleQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScriptFamiliarity with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular preferred)Basic understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibilityKnowledge of Git for version controlStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn from senior team membersExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environmentNice to HaveExposure to TypeScript or state management libraries (Redux, Pinia, Vuex)Experience with Figma or similar design collaboration toolsFamiliarity with basic testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress)Contract DetailsInitial 6-month contract with potential for extension based on project needs and performanceFully remote working arrangementFlexible hours and autonomy over your work scheduleCompetitive hourly rateHow to ApplyWe understand there is no such thing as a perfect fit and we are eager to hear from you if this role interests you.
