Working closely with hiring managers, you will act as an internal recruiter, helping to define role requirements, source candidates, and manage the end-to-end hiring process to ensure a smooth and effective experience for both candidates and stakeholders.While recruitment is the primary focus, the role also includes maintaining accurate training records and coordinating with training providers and delegates to support the successful delivery of learning initiatives.Key Responsibilities…RecruitmentAssist hiring managers in developing clear and effective job descriptions and advertisements to attract top talentUtilise a variety of channels (such as job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to source potential candidates and recommend enhancements to the recruitment process to hiring managersConduct initial screenings of CVs and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managersProactively follow up with hiring managers to ensure a timely and efficient hiring processIssue employment contracts, job descriptions, and new starter documentation, verifying right-to-work, references, and facilitating a smooth onboarding experienceUpdate the employee database with new hire informationRegularly review existing supplier agreements and evaluate new proposals, focusing on negotiation of rebates, compensation packages, and feesProvide regular reports on recruitment progress and suggest process improvements as neededMaintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activitiesManage the employee referral program, processing incentive payments in coordination with payrollTrainingEnsure the training database is maintained and up to date with all upcoming training eventsCoordinate with internal and external training providers to schedule sessions, send invitations, and confirm attendanceArrange accommodations, meals, and refreshments as required, and communicate details to delegatesDistribute course briefs and post-training evaluation surveys to assess training effectiveness and address identified needsGeneral AdministrationOrganise annual conferences, budget meetings, and team-building events, including scheduling, issuing itineraries, and maintaining clear communication with all participantsEnsure HR data within the HR system is accurate and up to date, and generate relevant management reportsDistribute internal HR communications, including staff announcements and policy updatesDispatch welcome packages to new employeesOversee employee surveys, collect feedback, and prepare reportsPerform general administrative duties and assist with ad hoc projects as requiredYour skills and experiences: Demonstrated experience in recruitment or resourcing REC (CertRP) qualification preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in utilising recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Keen attention to detail and dedication to delivering a positive candidate experience Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders Flexibility to perform duties outside of standard responsibilities in support of team objectives Proactive, self-motivated, and maintaining a positive attitude Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environmentBenefits:As a valued member of our team, you’ll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Contributory salary sacrifice pension schemeLife insurance (4x your salary)Enhanced annual leave entitlement, in addition to bank holidaysPrivate Healthcare via BUPA Employee Health Sheild cash PlanCompany-funded gym subsidy paymentsAnnual vision allowanceFree 24/7 remote GP serviceEmployee referral programmeLong service recognition awardsPaid maternity and paternity leaveAccess to Electric/ Hybrid vehicle charging pointsAdditionally, you'll have access to a wide range of supplementary benefits, including:Employee Assistance ProgrammeExtensive professional development through our in-house training academyCareer-enhancing training eventsExclusive employee discounts and various concessions via our corporate perks platformWhy Quartzelec?At Quartzelec, we take great pride in our commitment to developing the next generation of talent, as demonstrated by our active engagement with over 100 apprentices.
