Senior Housing Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Housing Occupational Therapist to join the Housing Services team of a Council in Leicester. This is an exciting hybrid role that combines clinical expertise with leadership, focused on supporting vulnerable residents to live safely and independently in their homes.Key Responsibilities of a Senior Housing Occupational Therapist:Manage and support a team of 8 Housing Support Coordinators overseeing minor home adaptations.Triage and assess housing adaptation referrals received from the local council.Collaborate with the Clinical Support Team to ensure a joined-up approach to service delivery.Monitor team performance, ensuring assessments comply with legislation and best practice.Lead service improvements and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.Requirements:Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) with HCPC registration.Significant experience in occupational therapy, ideally in housing or community settings.Proven leadership or management experience in a clinical or housing adaptation environment.Strong understanding of housing legislation, DFGs, and minor adaptations processes.Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.Job Title: Senior Housing Occupational TherapistLocation: LeicesterHours: 37 hours per week (Hybrid Working)Contract: 6-MonthsHourly Rate: 25 - 30hrIf this Senior Housing Occupational Therapist role is for you then please apply or contactJBRP1_UKTJ
