Job Title: Payment Operations Managers (Fintech)Industry: High growth fintech firmLocation: Remote – London-basedEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary: £80,000-90,000 + performance-driven bonusAbout the RoleAn exciting opportunity to lead our client’s day-to-day payment operations, ensuring strong reconciliation processes, compliance with internal controls, vendor management and service excellence across all payment flows. This role plays a key part in establishing a scalable, well-controlled operational framework.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end payment processing and reconciliation (across both fiat and crypto)Implement and maintain robust internal control proceduresManage vendor relationships and service level agreements (PSPs, custodians and other partners)Resolve queries efficiently across internal teams and external stakeholdersMonitor, track, and report on operational KPIsTrain and develop team members through cross-functional exposureLead initiatives for process automation and operational efficiencyMaintain and evolve a transparent and scalable fee structureKey RequirementsExperience:7+ years in payments or operations within banking, fintech or financial servicesStrong experience with reconciliations and internal control frameworksProven track record in vendor management and operational problem-solvingDemonstrated leadership and collaboration across teamsNice to Have:Experience with IFS (International Financial Systems)Knowledge of crypto and digital asset payment operationsBackground in fintech or early-stage/startup environmentsKey CompetenciesOperational leadership and process ownershipHigh attention to detail with analytical thinkingClear and confident communicatorRisk-aware and compliance-oriented mindsetStrong team builder with a collaborative leadership approach
