Senior Associate / Associate Director Confidential Landscape Architecture Practice – LondonA highly regarded, design-led landscape architecture and urbanism practice is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Associate or Associate Director to join their leadership team. Based in London, the studio delivers complex and contextually rich public realm and landscape projects across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on placemaking, urban regeneration, and environmental sensitivity.This is a key strategic role offering the opportunity to help shape the future of the studio. The successful candidate will bring a strong design voice, leadership ability, and commercial awareness, supporting the Directors in leading high-profile projects and managing client relationships while helping to mentor and develop the wider team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of high-quality landscape architecture projects across all RIBA stagesOversee and manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring successful project outcomes on time and on budgetAct as a senior point of contact for clients and collaborators, building long-term relationshipsContribute to strategic decision-making across the studio, including resource planning and project pipelinesSupport business development, including bids, competitions, and fee proposalsChampion design excellence, sustainability, and innovation across all aspects of workMentor and develop junior and mid-level team members, fostering a positive studio cultureContribute to succession planning and the long-term growth of the businessRequired Skills and ExperienceChartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)A minimum of 10 years' professional experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or associate-level roleProven ability to lead the design and delivery of complex public realm, urban, and mixed-use projectsExcellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and professional approachStrong understanding of project finances, team resourcing, and contract administrationSkilled in overseeing drawing packages, technical detailing, and quality controlConfidence in managing client relationships and representing the practice externallySalary & Benefits£70,000+ salary (depending on experience)Discretionary tax-free profit sharePrivate medical insuranceHybrid working with flexibility around hours and locationOpportunities for career progression and long-term leadershipA values-led, employee-owned business with a collaborative, non-hierarchical structureThis is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a respected and thoughtful design practice.
