We integrate legal, financial, and tax expertise to provide our clients with tailored solutions that protect their wealth across generations.As part of our growth strategy, we are now bringing wills and trusts planning drafting and preparation in-house and are seeking an experienced TEP Practitioner and private client solicitor to lead this initiative.The OpportunityThis is a senior role with the potential to shape and scale a new legal function within our business. The successful candidate will work closely with our financial advisers and tax specialists to design and implement effective estate planning solutions for high-net-worth clients.We have been specialists in this area for over 20 years and put through a significant number of cases monthly.We have previously used external providers to draft and finalise our client’s wills and accompanying trusts. Since the company has grown we want to bring this function in-house. It is important for the Will and Trust plans to follow and improve our existing structures and client advice.The Will planning structures do involve the set up of a Will and accompanying pilot Trusts.Key Responsibilities·       Lead the development of our in-house legal wills and trusts offering·       Draft complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney·       Provide technical guidance and support to financial advisers and clients·       Oversee compliance and risk management for legal outputs·       Build and manage a small, high-performing team as the service expands·       Maintain the highest standards of client care and confidentialityRequirements·        Full TEP Practitioner·        Minimum 5 years' experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning·        Proven ability to handle complex HNW/UHNW client cases·        Strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust taxation issues·        Commercially minded, collaborative, and able to operate with minimal supervision·        Comfortable working within a financial services environmentWhy Join Us? ·        Strategic leadership role within an ambitious and growing firm·        Work alongside experienced professionals in tax, accountancy, and financial planning·        Flexible working arrangements (remote/hybrid)·        Competitive remuneration and performance-based incentives·        Opportunity to shape the future of estate planning services within the firmInterested?We’d love to hear from you.
