Job Title: Project Designer PSDP Location: ManchesterContract Type: ContractIndustry: ConstructionRole Overview:EHS International is recruiting a Project Designer on behalf of our client for an engaging construction project in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for Health & Safety professionals with construction site experience to contribute to the safe design of commercial and industrial facilities.Key Responsibilities:Support the design of layouts that reduce on-site safety risks during construction and operationEnsure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 in all design documentationWork closely with site H&S managers and project engineers to identify and eliminate hazards at sourceAssist with pre-construction health and safety information and risk logsIncorporate safe access, egress and maintenance considerations into every design phaseRequirements:Experience in a Health & Safety role within construction, civil engineering or architectureStrong understanding of UK H&S legislation including CDM 2015Awareness of construction design standards and safety-by-design principlesExperience contributing to risk assessments or method statementsCAD software knowledge (AutoCAD, Revit etc.) is desirable but not essentialTo apply, contact Chris Mee directly at chrismee@ or call +353 87 812 6186.
