HGV Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our clients workshop team, maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant equipment. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality workshop operation. HGV Mechanic Key Responsibilities Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and MOT testing of vehicles and plant equipment Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards (including DVSA and health & safety compliance) Maintain accurate records, including job sheets, inspections, and compliance documentation Support workshop operations, including mentoring apprentices and maintaining a safe working environment HGV Mechanic Details: Pay: 23.54 PH Location: Leicester (LE9) Duration: Ongoing Assignment HGV Mechanic Key Requirements City & Guilds Technician and MOT Tester certification Experience in vehicle and/or plant maintenance and repair Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including use of electronic diagnostic tools Good organisational, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently Full driving licence (HGV licence desirable or willingness to train) and flexibility to work additional hours if required For more information, hit apply!
